Financial Statement Preparation

Financial Statement preparation for a business are perhaps the most important document for the business. They are the report card for the business. The statements tell the readers the performance of the company, along with the holdings for the company.

Types of financial statements:

  • Notice to Reader. These are the most common financial statements. These statements are prepared with source documentation compiled in order to produce the statements. Compilation means that the source data is compiled, but not verified as to it's content or source.

  • Review Engagement. These statements are typically required for those corporate clients whom have external financing requirements. These statements are prepared with verification conducted to ensure that the source data and operations of the company conform with G.A.A.P. (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

  • Audited Statements. These statements are required for public companies as well as those whom have a trust relationship or requirements from a board of directors or governing authority. These statements are prepared with the source data being verified and audited to ensure compliance with G.A.A.P. (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) as well as the applicable Income Tax Act and similar reporting guidelines.

Our fee's for preparation of financial statements vary based on the complexity and time required in preparation. We however will quote for the preparation of these statements in the form of a flat fee quote.
